Lauretta's father, John MACHON, was first married to Elizabeth ROBERTS and their children married and immigrated to the United States, mainly in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. It is only presumed that the majority of surnames in this collection is MACHON.	45

It has been suggested that they may have originated with Helen NORSWORTHY, daughter of James Caunter NORSWORTHY. Photos now owned and donated by Alan and Deanne Heimbecker.	21
